Internationally, TCIB's work encompasses oil-producing nations, especially OPEC, Portfolios, Islamic Finance, Complexity, Debt restructuring, Islamic Sukuk, transition economies, and more. Our research program covers diverse, cross-disciplinary themes within research clusters, including:

  • Islamic Finance and Moral Economy: Examining the intersection of Islamic faith, economics, moral economies, and technological developments within the Islamic finance industry, such as fintech, blockchain, and digital financing.
